ZALVE Wound Healing Cream
ZALVE® Wound Healing Cream is a skin semi-occlusive dressing, antimicrobial in form of a smooth, white, iridescent cream, consisting mainly of monoglycerides and water, presented in a plastic tube with a cap. The cream also contains stabilized hydrogen peroxide.
ZALVE® Wound Healing Cream is substance (cream) intended to be topically applied to injured/diseased skin to expedite skin healing and re-epithelialization primarily through semi-occlusive properties which reduce moisture transmission from the wound to the environment by means of a physical barrier; it also includes an antimicrobial agent(s). It is intended for home/healthcare facility use to treat open skin wounds (e.g., abrasions, lacerations, burns, surgical wounds, ulcers) and/or conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis, scars). After application, this device cannot be reused.
ZALVE® Wound Healing Cream helps heal minor wounds (e.g. abrasions, cuts, burns, lacerations, blisters and insect bites); Its physical barrier properties, together with emollient, hydrating, skin conditioning, and antimicrobial effects, assist the healing process, helping to restore skin condition (moisture balance) and normalize the microenvironment.
